Talacre is a small holiday village on the North Wales coast only 1 hour from both Liverpool and Manchester with a fantastic beach with free parking. It is generally more peaceful and family orientated than bigger resorts along the coast .
The sandy beach is hardly ever crowded and stretches for miles towards the resort town of Prestatyn , whilst there are plenty of oppotunities to enjoy the natural environment with cycle paths and walkways through the sandy dunes area as well as the RSPB reserve and the SSSI nature reserve .
Further afield are the resorts of Prestatyn 4 miles, Rhyl 8 miles and Llandudno 20 miles with the majestic mountains of Snowdonia just over an hour away .
